Jackson’s Cake Smash

Welcome to Jackson’s cake smash!  This handsome little man totally stole my heart when he was in my studio earlier this week.  He was a little unsure at first what to make of the strange lady taking his picture but once I pulled out my box of wooden blocks I knew I’d made a new friend.

 

I just love this onesie that Jackson’s mom bought for the session…and that J blew his mama a kiss while wearing it!

 

I had this great idea of starting out with a close-up image of the UN-smashed cake with Jackson in the background.  However, the moment J’s mama let him go, he was all over his sugary, blue treat.  Funny thing is that he didn’t actually want to eat it.  He smacked it, squished it, smeared it and crawled on it but not too much actually made it into his mouth.
