A few months ago as winter was wearing me down with her chilly winds and dark days, I asked my very handy husband to help me build a lemonade stand for babies. Because it needed to be small, we used a wooden crate, which hubby then attached wood strips to for the posts & banner. I added the letters with Velcro so that they can be changed as per the season (think kissing booth, candy shop or hot chocolate stand). After some paint and a triangle banner made from twine, scrapbook paper & teeny, tiny clothespins, my baby lemonade stand was ready.
Enter baby V. Her mama is planning a lemonade stand themed first birthday for her in June and wanted some lemonade stand photos done which could be used for invitations etc. for the party. We got lucky with a hot, sunny day on May 1st and had some lemonade stand fun. This session completely put me in the mood for summertime! I can’t wait for more lemonade sessions and to build a stand for big kids too!
