Miss V | cake smash

Remember the adorable Lemonade Stand session I posted in May?  You can find it HERE.

Miss V was back in my studio last week for her cake smash session.  Her mama wanted it to be pretty, pink & vintage. When I couldn’t find the style of banner I wanted, I decided to make it myself with a cut up lace tablecloth, some burlap, a string of pearls and some pink & white fabrics.  I LOVE how it turned out!  Add in a gorgeous ombre rose cake from Crazy 4 Cakes, some vintage props and we were set.

This cutie pie loved the vintage pearls I have in my studio.  In fact, I think she may have liked them even more than the cake.  They were a toy, a distraction, a tool for wrecking cake and a way for us to get her to look toward the camera.  Girl’s do love a good accessory!
