There was a little princess in my studio on the last day of July. At 10 days new, she was tiny and beautiful and obviously adored by her parents and grandma who joined her for her session.
Baby K was AMAZING during her session! She slept like a dream allowing me to change setups and props without difficulty. I loved photographing this sweet girl and as I edited her images this past week, it was exciting for me to see my progress in my newborn photography from 2013. I never thought I would have the patience for a 3 hour session with an unpredictable tiny human. At one point during K’s session, her Mama commented that watching me pose her sweet girl was calming. I didn’t realize until that moment that it’s become calming for me too. I find a peacefulness in the quiet, slow movements, and (SURPRISE!), talkative, outgoing me kind of loves it!
