Baby Boy | newborn

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable 3 week old baby boy.    It was a rough start and because he loves being held tummy to chest by mama so much, posing on his back was not an option early on in our session.  We outsmarted this little munchkin though.  After a milk top up, I put him on his tummy and waited.  and waited.  and waited.  sleep came and the camera clicked.  You were a champ baby boy.  thanks for the snuggles!

One of my favourite things about this session was seeing his lovely mama interact with him.  Whether she was feeding, soothing or rocking him, the love just beamed out of her.  I am honoured that she chose me to capture these precious moments of this handsome little man.

 

I love newborn close-ups to capture the details of their tiny fingers & toes and perfect little lips & eyelashes.  Newborns change so much in those first few days and weeks.  Even if you don’t have professional photos taken of your newborn, make sure you capture those details.  You will never want to forget them!
