1st Birthday / Baby Photographer

Meet K.  She turns one very soon and was in the studio yesterday for her 1st birthday cake smash.  There are so many reasons why I loved this session…

1)   K is adorable!!

2)   The cake from Crazy 4 Cakes was stunning (and according to K’s mom – delicious!)

3)  Her Mommy was the winner of my Valentines Day Mini Session back in Feb (we switched it to a cake smash).  You can see the contest post HERE

4)   Her brother and sister were awesome helpers and gave their sister a special birthday message.

5)  K got messy!!

6)  and then she put her feet into the cake…

7)  which made her happy…

8)  and then not so happy.  I have to say though that even tears during a cake smash are cute and totally understandable.  (I wouldn’t want sticky icing between my toes either)

9)  K rallied, destroyed some more cake (seriously…it was on everything!) and we called it a day.  Cake smash success!
