Family – Melissa Auer Photography

Welcome to my family’s pre-Christmas photo session!  A few weeks before Christmas, we went tree hunting with some friends.  I did a mini photo shoot for their family & my very good (and talented) friend Erin did some family photos for us.

Like many moms I’ve done sessions for in 2013,  I am far more comfortable behind the camera with the attention focused on my kids (or in my case, clients).  I’m trying really hard to change that because I know that in the future, my girls will look back and want to see us in pictures together.   We moms are entirely too critical of ourselves and often forget that these little people we are raising see only our beauty and our love.  If only we could learn to view ourselves through their eyes!

Thank you Erin for capturing beautiful moments for me!  I love the results of our combined efforts…even the ones of me!
