Britta’s Cake Smash

Britta’s cake smash was my first session of 2015 and what a perfect way to start a new year!

Britta arrived at my studio happy and curious.  She was fascinated by the props and especially the sound the white paper backdrop made when she smacked it.  Cake was a brand new adventure for this cutie and she dove right in.  Within minutes it was everywhere and Britta was covered from her hair to her toes in shades of purple icing.

I love seeing the different ways that babies react to their first birthday cake and Britta’s cake smash didn’t disappoint.  By the end, the cake was demolished and I had many sweet and fun shots of Miss B.
