Mommy & Me

Mommy & Me mini sessions have officially begun. As you may already know from previous blog posts, I am a mom of 2 girls, and as a mom I realize all too well how fleeting some of the best moments can be with my kids. The tiny hand that holds yours to cross the street doesn’t stay that small. The arms flying around your neck with reckless abandon one day turn into a whispered “can you hug me BEFORE we get to school so my friends don’t see?” I dread the days when my girls who want to go everywhere with me now will one day choose to hang out with friends instead (just as I did in my teen years…Sorry Mom!) Yes, childhood is a beautiful, fleeting thing.

As moms we are busy. We try to be everything to everyone…supermom. We often forget to clear our heads, be present in the moment and just soak in the every day not-so-exciting happenings with our little ones.
