It all began with a $3 leather jacket from Value Village that a 6 year old boy bought with his own money. ‘H’ came to school (same class as my oldest) decked out in skinny jeans, cowboy boots, a Mohawk, and of course, THE jacket. We decided right then and there that a rock star photo shoot was a must and Mom ‘E’ was totally on board. And so it began…
If you are a regular Melissa Auer Photography follower, then you already know that baby & kid sessions are my favourite. I love photographing newborns and families too, but kids are JUST. SO. MUCH. FUN. I’ve always had a crazy-huge imagination and am drawn to all things creative whether it’s art, music, or photography. The reason I love working with kids so much is that they are full of creativity, ideas and excitement to create. It makes creating themed photo sessions, (something I’d love to do way more of) a lot easier & more exciting. The rock star boys did not disappoint me.
