Mommy & Me Mini Sessions have arrived at Melissa Auer Photography!!
Spring is here and Mother’s Day is just over 6 weeks away. (can you believe it?) Instead of flowers this year, wouldn’t it be amazing to capture moments of you and your child(ren)? As Moms we can be pretty hard on ourselves…and each other. There’s so much pressure to be Supermom, whether you work outside the home or as a stay-at-home mom; whether you have 1 child or 4.
The truth is that our children don’t care about anything but having our love, our attention and our time. They don’t see the pounds you think you have to lose or care whether the laundry is finished. They don’t care how many Facebook friends you have, what kind of car you drive or whether you are wearing makeup. They care about the hug you gave them at 3am when they woke up from a nightmare. They care about the dance party you had in the kitchen, how high you push them on the swing at the park and the snuggle you give them before bedtime. They love you just as you are; beautiful, loving and flawed. You have an incredible bond that began the moment you knew of their peanut sized existence which has grown every day since.
Mommy & Me Mini Sessions celebrate those bonds and the beauty of the connection and love between mother and child. Maybe your mini session will include reading a book under a cherry blossom tree, walking hand in hand on a winding path or blowing bubbles in a park. However you choose to have your moments captured, they will be precious because they’re yours!
