I can hardly believe that my youngest daughter Leah turns 4 tomorrow! Over the last several weeks, I’ve often found myself wondering where the time has gone. Last Sunday, I spent the afternoon at 4Cats Art Studio in Maple Ridge photographing Leah’s paint party. I can’t say enough good things about 4Cats birthday parties. The owners are fantastic, everything is structured and organized and the kids had an absolutely fantastic time getting messy!
I loved that I could focus on being the photographer instead of the hostess and capture great moments of my girl having fun with her friends. Paint throwing was a definite highlight for the kids as was popping paint balloons. By the end of the party, the parents who had decided to stick around for the entertainment, were asking about adult paint parties (which they have!) I can’t wait to pick up the awesome splatter canvass that the kids made & put it up on our playroom wall.
