cozy christmas / Coquitlam family photographer

there are so many different choices when having family photos taken.  traditionalists often choose studio sessions or perhaps portraits in a park.  the beach at sunset or a spring morning under cherry blossom trees make for beautiful images to hang on your walls.  october was incredibly popular for family sessions this year with many of my clients wanting the brilliant fall hues as their backdrop.  yes, spring, summer and fall are beautiful seasons to turn your family memories into art.   but you know, winter photos are pretty fantastic too!  ok, it’s not quite winter yet, but considering how cold it’s been it may as well be.

for sunday’s cozy christmas mini session, I met this fun and very photogenic family at minnekhada park in coquitlam.  a thin layer of ice covered the water and the fog added to the cold & cozy feel of the session.  this is one of my favourites!   take a peek and enjoy!
