It’s rare that my older daughter K cooperates when I want to take pictures of her, but somehow I lucked out this time. I don’t know if I just caught her in the right mood or if climbing the pear tree at my parent’s house offered unique incentive for her. Whatever it was, I’m grateful because K gave me the beautiful, sweet smiles that make me sigh with the wonder at the honesty and innocence of childhood. I can’t keep her this way forever but I will always have a photographic memory of who she is right now.
